CHECK THE FINISHED OPENING: Prepare a 6.38 in (162 mm) round cutout with all factory-applied EVA left in place. Overall flange: 7.48 in (190 mm); clear opening: 5.91 in (150 mm); sleeve depth: 2 in (50 mm). Measure the actual unit before cutting.
CUSHIONING AT TWO CONTACT ZONES: Eight EVA pads beneath the flange help reduce hard metal-to-counter contact. A 4 mm EVA layer around the sleeve helps dampen steel ringing and contact noise. Keep all cushioning installed.
START SMALL, THEN TEST-FIT: The included 160 mm paper guide marks a starting line, not the final opening. Cut slightly small, check the actual unit, and enlarge evenly to a finished 162 mm opening. Use a qualified fabricator for stone, quartz, or granite.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE: One assembled open-top grommet and one paper starting guide. Bin, liner bag, prepared countertop opening, and cutting tools are not included. Lift out for cleaning; wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry.
