- TIG APPLICABILITY INSTRUCTIONS | Many customers ask if this auto darkening lens works for TIG welding?it does, but clarify usage details to avoid issues. TIG arcs are inherently unstable, and this lens uses a light sensor for auto-darkening; its high sensitivity (for accurate arc detection) brings a limitation: unstable arc starting, current outside 70A-150A, or strong light may cause frequent flickering. For those mainly doing TIG, using off-range current, or with unstable arcs, a future PRO version will add "Passive Constant Dark Mode" (full-time dark state) to solve flickering
