The black screw collar cap comes with your spout kit and has a fine thread, which makes it suitable for the following cans: Blitz (gas, kerosene, and diesel), Briggs & Stratton (early models), Essence, Gott, and Rubbermaid.

Two Type of Vent Cap Fit Most Gas Can Water Jug
- Some gas cans (like Rubbermaid Gott and Essence) come with a vent hole, then you can use the Black gas can vent cap.
- Some gas cans (like Midwest and Scepter) do not come with a vent hole, then you need to drill a hole and install the yellow gas can vent
- Yellow Vent Cap Drill required.Start with an empty can, Drill a hole at the back of your plastic can above the fill line, insert vent cap and pop it in gently with a rubber mallet.We suggest you drill a smaller hole to start with and work your way up to the drill bit.
