It offers fast and easy removal of paint, varnish, wood stain, lacquer, polyurethane, epoxy, and shellac from cabinetry, flooring, furniture, wood, metal, stone, and masonry surfaces. The gel formula needs ONLY 5-Minutes to work. Lift Off will not melt or dissolve paint and varnish, leaving it solid and intact for safe and easy cleanup and disposal. This patented, water-based formula is better for the environment, safer for pets and people, and safer for the surface. Contains 4.32oz of acetone. To Use Motsenbocker’s Lift Off Paint and Varnish Remover: Shake well before using. Heavily coated surfaces and deeply ingrained stains may require more than one application.1) Protect surrounding areas and remove hardware if necessary.2) Shake well and pour into a plastic container.3) Use a paint brush and apply a liberal amount of Lift Off® to the desired area.4) Wait 5 minutes.5) Use a scraper or stripping pad to lift the coating working in the same direction as the wood grain.6) Repeat if necessary.7) Clean surface with warm water and clean cloth to remove excess coatings and Lift Off® from surface.8) Allow surface to air dry.9) Stripped coatings will remain intact for safe disposal.10) Allow stripped coatings to dry completely before disposing in trash. The use of gloves is recommended to protect skin from drying caused by exposure to Lift Off and removed coatings.
