The blades are sharpened but as with all edge tools, they'll need some more sharpening before use. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. Blade sizes are: 6mm, 12mm, 20mm & 26mm. The handles are ergonomic with oval cross-section made from clear varnished wood. They are equiped with steel ferrule and hoop.
