The RACO 6239BK is a 1-gang floor box kit built around a 15A, 125V tamper-resistant duplex receptacle, recessed to minimize plug protrusion above the floor. The round steel box holds 28 cu-in of capacity, finished in black to match the receptacle, and is sized for installation in carpet, tile, or wood flooring. Height can be adjusted after the box is mounted, giving installers room to fine-tune the fit as flooring materials are added or built up. Removable neoprene gaskets let either side of the receptacle be used independently with the cover closed, so a cord can stay plugged in on one side while the other stays sealed against dust and debris. The kit can be used for power or data applications, giving one box flexibility across different device types. Everything needed for the installation ships in the kit: the box, the recessed duplex device, and the round cover, so no separate receptacle or cover purchase is required.
